Automated permitting for home solar and batteries just passed the CT Legislature! First in New England ⚡ ☀️ That matters. Connecticut has some of the highest energy costs in the country. Slow and expensive permitting is a major barrier for families seeking to cut their utility bills with solar. MA and RI are also considering automated permitting bills this session. They should follow CT's lead and deliver faster, cheaper home energy upgrades across the region.
