Season 16 Solo Queue Tierlist [Iron-Diamond] The meta is focused on full clearing now that the pet is 35 stacks instead of 40 They made extra damage to camps go from 25%->10%, and in return they made Large Monsters deal 50% less damage to you. AP champs are superior to most AD champs because of their clear speed.

Holy moly this is actually a disturbing performance from Oner. His Q timing is legit perfect on the blast cone and he perfectly combod his R timing with his Q coming up. The entire part of the next sequence was even cleaner I’m actually speechless
Griffin@GriffinHQ_

Oner might be the best Lee Sin in the world

My issue isn’t with you. It’s definitely with how Riot has handled things over the years. I see what you’ve done for the community and I genuinely appreciate that. But I don’t think it’s fair to say semi-pro isn’t a full-time job. Players HAVE to invest full-time hours and more for even the slightest shot at LCS. The grind IS full-time and the paycheck just isn’t. At a certain point it’s not even about money, it’s about actual opportunity that aspiring pro players deserve that they are truly not getting. Scouting grounds was consistently finding some of the best NA talent and completely disappeared because Riot stopped caring. I simply wish Riot cared more about what’s going on in the NA pro scene because it directly impacts the quality of LCS too. Challenger solo queue legit feels like a joke and not even the LCS players feel the motivation to grind solo queue.

themselves because League of Legends isn't the best career choice in North America. My whole point of my original tweet is that semi-professional league is never a full-time career and that players should always have an idea of what they want to do if pro play doesn't work out.

Respectfully, you’re an org owner too and you know exactly what’s happening in the scene. So why downplay it? What’s the actual alternative for these players? Collegiate is dying, multiple schools cut funding or offer nothing. So the middle ground is what? Maintain Challenger, aim top 10, play scrims and matches, all while working part time? And even if you’re “good enough,” you’re still at the mercy of org owners who decide your career exists or doesn’t. The Triple-A comparison only works if there’s still a major league to climb into. We’ve spent years shrinking the LCS and filling LCS spots with imports, which has directly affected Academy too. It’s a system that’s stopped prioritizing the develop of the next generation. The one thing I agree with you on is how awful the academy system is now. There’s little to no attention to trying to fix the broken system in NA.
The Bully@bully_lol

I don't think this is a hot take, but semi-pro sports/esports isn't a full-time job. Salaries were heavily inflated back when academy was a thing which resulted in the demise of the academy system. If you want an example, look at Triple-A baseball player salaries and time worked

13 game lose streak is genuinely brutal and I feel this post. But the thing is Faker has gone through many loss streaks, experiences target inters, and has lost a devastating worlds, only to bounce back and be the goat he is. Everyone hits a wall. The difference between players who climb and players who don’t isn’t talent, it’s who can reset their mental faster. You’re not losing because support is a dogshit role or these games are unwinnable. You’re losing because you’re carrying the weight of the last 13 losses into your 14th game. Any competitive game is 70% mental. Take a break. Reset your mental. And when you queue up don’t play to win and break the streak, play to learn something. One single thing. Could I have landed more skill shots in lane? Could I have found a better roam timer? Could I have gotten more vision? Choose something and learn about it. Your LP will take care of itself when your mindset shifts from “fixing the streak” to improving yourself as a player.
solaria@soIariaaaaa

i don’t get it anymore, i’m on a 13 game lose streak, if only you could imagine how many recordings i’ve got of every single game and how in every single game someone types „ff“ at minute 3, people are perma typing every single fucking game, how do people climb out of low master playing support i mean genuinely just how? how do i go from 260lp 60% wr to d1? 13 game lose streak? so you’re telling me every game is technically a 50% chance at loss or win and every time i’m on the losing side? support has to be the most miserable role to play in soloq every match you have your hands and legs tied and you‘re unable to do anything especially when your team goes mental boom before scuttle even spawns, i’m completely done with support and i’m never touching this subhuman role again, i tried for months and months but this role is genuinely for people that love to get pegged in all holes, surely it’s my bad that i am on a 13 game loss streak

Crazy to me that this is looked down upon. Properly invading is one of the harder skills to learn, but if you master it you gain a huge competitive advantage. The issue is junglers ALWAYS overextend to chase for kills like in this clip. If he took the buff, zoned off the enemy jungler, pulled laners then backed off, the game is absolutely cooked for Blue side. When I first hit Challenger I OTPd Kayn and did a raptor invade every single game. The Q over the pit -> raptor/buff steal was unpatched. I think it’s a matter of skill expression on both sides to navigate a match where you’re up/down a lot of resources at the start of the game. It’s ironic because I usually teach people to full clear, and I’ll continue to do so because it’s that much easier to master than invading.
Griffin@GriffinHQ_

If you are a jungler and play like this every game. I speak for everyone when i say no one respects your rank I actually dont mind playing into these people because they are inflated from cheese strategies so they will usually just end up inting the game away even if they get a small lead from it. If this is you that plays like this please learn real jungling. you can do this if youre adaptable but forcing it every game like this player is low elo

Diana + Grubs buffs oh boy. Be prepared everyone Diana is about to terrorize the rift again. She’s going to clear insanely fast and will have better compact with her W being buffed. I can’t wait!

26.11 Full Patch Preview! The major changes this patch are to the Systems mentioned yesterday to adjust the relative balance of Ranged vs Melee supports in bot lane. There are also some changes to Statikk Shiv to make it slightly more attractive on AD users and a nerf to Hexplate for Ranged which are primarily being picked up on Varus and Vayne Top Lane. We're not looking to remove it from them, but are looking to get it into a spot where its top end balance doesn't need to be maintained around those 2 champions. We're also restoring some of the power we removed from Heartsteel a while ago as it lost some of its fantasy and power in a way that we think we can restore now. It will also incidentally help some of the Tank Supports in niche cases when they start snowballing Deathfire Touch - We're adjusting Deathfire Touch this patch to deal Magic Damage - Part of the impetus for this is how strong the synergy is with Black Cleaver and in addition, it feels like more of a magic coded effect - So we think this strikes a reasonable balance of fantasy fulfilment and practical balance considerations - Otherwise, we think Deathfire Touch is in a pretty reasonable spot Brand, Smolder - Brand Botlane and Smolder have both benefitted from Deathfire Touch - While we are making changes to the Deathfire Touch interaction that will affect Smolder, we still think he will be too strong after these changes - The changes to Smolder are targeted at also making his squishy Crit builds more optimal so he is more assailable later in the game Heimerdinger - After the minion changes in the previous patch, Heimer's turrets are a bit worse for wear - We're giving him a feelsgood QOL change so that his turrets aren't killed by ranged minions without being able to attack back - Despite being 550 range on paper, 550 range champions (which are most of them) will still be able to outrange turrets at max range due to the way this range is calculated - In addition, there is a small increase to the E vision duration so that the Beam actually manages to fire before losing vision in some cases Teemo - For Teemo, he is one of the more powerful Top laners, while also being on the higher end of frustration - He is also receiving a small buff to Statikk Shiv this patch and so we're compensation nerfing him with an intent for this to be lightly power down Quinn - Quinn has landed in a pretty weak spot for Jungle and in this state, it's pretty close to griefing team when picked - So we're giving it a pretty sizeable buff to give it a legitimate shot at being powerful and viable - Players so far have expressed interest in playing it!

26.10 Jungle Tierlist [Iron-Diamond] Briar > every champ in the game. If you're looking for free wins, play this disturbing stat checking champ. Make sure to build some defenses/HP, not just full damage. Wukong buffs make him significantly more relevant. His clear speed and W damage being increased makes him a lot stronger. I'm personally a huge fan of this champ, just make sure to play around your R. Lee Sin W CD changes help him out a lot, especially for lower elo players. He is much more forgiving than he was before. Quinn being rated B tier is a bit of stretch, and will likely be moved down to C/D for now. She is getting buffed next patch AGAIN, so we'll see where she belongs then. Yes, I know Talon is in F tier and Naafiri is in C. These champions are just not easy to pilot for lower elo players. Even if you're able to get "free kills", you usually have a hard time ending games which renders assassins more and more useless as the game progresses. Keep in mind I genuinely despise these champs in high elo, I just don't like misleading lower elo players. If you're curious to see the full tierlist and the champion guide attached, the link is in the replies⬇️

Grubs buff is massive for this upcoming patch. The game has stale and been extremely dragon focused, so I’m excited to see how this will transform the meta. Depending on how strong the Diana and Ekko buffs are we might be in for a repeat of the start of the season. They’re okay champs right now, and if this buff includes clear speed or a decent amount of damage, we’ll be in for a fun one. Xin zhao nerf is DEFINITELY warranted. Playing against that is awfully annoying. The back to back Quinn buffs seem extra from Riot. Not sure why they like buffing top lane champs in the jungle 😭😭

Patch 26.11 Preview! In 26.11, we're making a few adjustments to the Support ecosystem to improve diversity, especially in terms of melee vs ranged balance.  We're also doing some continued followup to champs after some of the Season 2 changes have been optimized.  AP Xin Zhao has popped out as one of the most striking and fun champs, but his healing is a bit on the high side, especially when he's outhealing some of the champs designed around healing.  That said, we still think healing a bunch is exciting and worth supporting, just not at this magnitude.  Systems - With the role quests in Season Start, ranged supports have risen to the top of the pecking order - They're both the best at multiplying ADC's who are strong currently, as well as benefiting the most from being in lane for role quests - Roaming also pays a higher systemic cost as it puts both yourself behind on quest progress and makes it so your ally ADC can't stack their quest - Overall, this has been desirable, as we think in 2025, roaming was too high for the most part and especially undercut the satisfaction of players in bot lane wanting to a play a “real laning phase” - At the same time though, we do want to open up a bit of roaming power on the grub timing after early lane is done and so we're buffing up the reward of grubs just slightly - We're making a broad set of changes to both improve the desirability of some underpurchased items, as well as more finely tune the purpose of various items in the ecosystem - Other systems adjustments this patch are changes to Experimental Hexplate that aim to make it shine on both melee and ranged users.  - Currently the best users are champs like Nocturne, Olaf, Vayne, Varus and we think we can strike a better balance on more champions while also making the item tradeoffs more apparent for durability vs damage on Vayne and Varus (mostly manifesting in Top) - The other systems impacting changes are some adjustments to Diana and Ekko jungle who have been slightly worse for wear there (though Mid is mostly fine)

35 kill banger with HOB Crit Viego. Take Collector first item -> Shieldbow -> IE Your 50% crit spike is MASSIVE, and with IE as your 3rd item you are able to one shot anyone. Only take this build if you have easy targets and decent setup from your team.

D2 48% WR VS Challenger Rank 137 What the FUCK did I just play and how is this even possible? I understand there's some MMR changes so we can get into queue faster but I thought that matchmaking was fixed so there are evenly skilled players playing against each other? This shit is genuinely disturbing because it's not like he even has a high winrate / amazing MMR. What did I just experience?

Solo kill exp >> camps and shared kills There’s also comeback exp when you’re down levels. It’s hard to notice how much of a difference a shared kill and comeback exp is in game but it genuinely is a lot.

Underrated OP Champ with the new Jungle Changes. Invades are not as easy anymore which gives Lillia more time to ramp up. Take Blue Pet so you can travel around the map faster. It works nicely with the bonus MS you get when you complete your quest and your Lillia passive. Liandries is a solid first item for the stats and the passive works nicely with the Lillia burn. Defensive boots is helpful so you can last longer in fights and makes sure you'll be able to cast your ultimate. Riftmaker is a solid second item with the stats you get from it. You also get the bonus damage from the passive and the omnivamp which helps in prolonged fights. Zhonyaz is a crucial 3rd item so you can get into the mix of enemies and cast your ultimate without dying. The armor is also nice against AD champs. Banshee's for more defensive stats and so you can tank a CC spell to get your ultimate cast off in important fights. Bloodletters is a good finishing item because it will shred enemies who will have a lot of MR at this point in the game.

ONE ULT WONDER. Fiddlesticks is the teamfight king. Blue Pet helps you get around the map faster to get better ultimate angles. Malignance is a crucial first item because every ultimate you use provide you with a kill. This gets you through the early game and the stats are helpful. Sorcs is the go-to boots on Fiddlesticks, no need for defensive or CDR. Shadowflame gives you the Pen and extra damage when enemies are lower than 50% HP. With these 2 core items you should be able to one shot anyone. Zhonyaz helps you engage into big teamfights and still give you a chance to survive after your engage. Void staff for more DMG if enemies are building Magic Resist or Banshees if they are heavy on the AP and you could use the spell shield to help you engage. Rabadons is always a great finisher item so you can have the extra Ap and one shot people in fights.
