Busted after bedtime 🫣 Our Cape Porcupines had a late-night zoomies session, just when they thought no one was watching! More: bit.ly/47IfNfK 📷 Keeper Bronte

Bet you didn't know orangutans have this much dexterity in their lips 🫦 These great apes use their lips to grasp, manipulate & inspect food. Here, Dinar's using his to work on a tasty palm frond. Repeated chewing - called wadging- helps get all nutrients out 🌿 📷Keeper Teagan

A big hello from Dinar 🦧 Orangutans use a range of vocalisations including raspberries, kiss squeaks and long calls to communicate! Dinar often makes soft grunting noises to let his keepers know he’s happy to see them 🧡 📷 Keeper Teagan

Bobtail cuteness👅 Shingleback lizards, aka bobtails, can make themselves look much more intimidating than this when they need to 😲 When faced with danger, bobtails open their mouth super wide, flash their bright blue tongue and make a big hissing sound to scare of predators!

Catch me if you can 🤭 From rubbing their smelly scent on anything they can to chasing the ladies, Numbats work hard for love. Our keepers filmed these moments in January - and we'll be looking out for tiny joeys soon! 📷 Keeper Vicki
