NEW: Illinois is about to TAX @AllTrails $665,000 PER MONTH!!!! That's $8 MILLION/year. Their annual revenue is only $100 M (est). That's 8% of their revenue!!!! This new law also taxes all other for-profit social media companies. No I am not joking. And AllTrails is clearly in the definition. A rough estimate via available data suggests AllTrails has 2 million users in Illinois. A platform of this size has to pay "$165,000, plus $0.50 per month multiplied by the number of Illinois users over 1,000,000." That's $665,000!!!!

Can confirm this is awesome. Have a voice-only agent without access to tools handle the communication. Ran into an issue with agent wanting to execute tasks while on the call and that resulted in major idle time and dropped calls. It’s all editing. I mean, the Veo 3.1 clip says the line (or part of it). From there, it’s like doing “surgery” — using speed ramps to mostly adjust the silent parts. Although I gotta admit, a lot of times the video that comes out of Veo 3.1 actually lines up pretty well, since I usually keep the max clip length (8s) and the lyrics I give in the prompt in mind.

My latest AI music video is a freaking banger. I didn’t expect this to blow up… but here we are. 1M views and 30k hours in just 3 weeks on Radio Mandanga. This is just a little taste, I’m dropping the full clip and the tutorial down below, made on frepik 👇

Let’s kick off with the lipsyncs! I used a simple trick: short phrases with Veo 3.1 fast. Since you can’t upload audio, just prompt short lines and tweak them a bit in editing. Prompt's in the ALT, nothing fancy.
