Yes, fuel may cost around KSh 300+ per litre in London, but the average income there is significantly higher. The UK’s median monthly salary is several times that of Kenya’s, meaning fuel takes up a much smaller share of household income. In Kenya, where many people earn far less, high fuel prices have a direct and painful impact on transport, food costs, and overall cost of living. Leadership is about understanding the lived reality of citizens. When you once positioned yourself as a defender of hustlers, the expectation was that you would advocate for policies that ease their burden.... not justify it through comparisons that ignore economic context. The question is not just how much fuel costs elsewhere, but how affordable it is for Kenyans. That’s the reality that matters.

The governor @SakajaJohnson is very right in appointing Gaucho.The FIF act requires the community to have a say in how the FIF is utilised in the hospitals.We are so elitist that we think that majority of Kenyans don't deserve a seat at the table.
