He was often seen interacting with themed enrichment for all types of celebrations (especially for his favorite Philly sports teams). He thrived in Philadelphia winters, enjoying every snow fall and the snowmen his care team would create with his favorite foods. 3/4

We're deeply saddened to share the passing of our red panda, Khumbie❤️ During his annual exam, he was diagnosed with cancer, and our team made the difficult and compassionate decision to humanely euthanize him. At 11, he was entering his geriatric years. 1/4

Wishing a ROARING good birthday to our African lion, Makini! 🦁🎂 We celebrated his 17th birthday with a decked-out habitat, lots of meat, and a “bloodcicle” cake! He also enjoyed chasing his tail 😹 Shout out to his animal care team for putting together such a great party!
