I don't see how a ton more institutional capital won't be flowing into defi this cycle. The rates are insane across the board and chains. Even on maker(sky) people get paid 25% on stables. Last cycle, anchor was clearly a Ponzi and still ycombinator startups spawned on the back of it. This cycle, Ethena gives us a clear view of where this insane yield is coming from, the unquenchable thirst of leverage from the participants. It might not be sustainable into the bear, but it's not going to kaboom into the vapor. 20-30% yields on stables in significant size, the capital sitting on the sidelines not jumping in will realise they are stupid soon. Much higher everything as on-chain revenues go ballistic!
