The first governance vote for The Arena is official. With an overwhelming vote of “Yes,” we will begin our exploration into building out an Avalanche L1. Not only will this transform the utility of $ARENA into a native gas token powering this new ecosystem, but this will potentially open up new opportunities as we build out the future vision. As outlined in the proposal, exploration will begin in 2025 after we finish up our Q4 roadmap. We will host one more proposal with more exact details on the implementation plans as we finalize them.
