Leaving Houston after a wonderful weekend in TX w/ @Will_Mcgee2 for the @CallawayGolf @AJGAGolf event. It’s the best I’ve ever seen him hit it. Missed 9 greens in 3 days. However his putter was cold. Funny game. 🤷🏻‍♂️Finished T21. All part of the process. Proud of his fight. ❤️💪🏼😊

What’s next for Will McGee? He’s back on the local junior circuit with some FJT events in early 2026. He’ll also be out watching mom compete at home in the celebrity division of the @LPGA opener at Lake Nona, fully invested in every shot.

Will McGee is a bona fide celebrity at the PNC Championship, a personality magnet who is prone to giving out hugs. The 14-year-old son of LPGA great Annika Sorenstam has big goals in the game: He wants to win majors and be No. 1 in the world. “I just want to be able to carry on her legacy,” said McGee, “and for people to remember me not only as her son, but a good golfer.” With those words, McGee began to tear up. Mom did too. There's no other week like this one in golf.

Will McGee is literally growing up at the PNC. He's 4 inches taller this year than he was in 2024. On Saturday, McGee put on a show on the greens at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club. At 14 years old, Will McGee is the youngest player in the PNC field. His father, Mike, estimates that Will has grown about 4 inches this year and gained about 20 to 25 yards off the tee, now hitting is past his mom, LPGA great Annika Sorenstam. The biggest difference, though, is that he can now compress the ball with his irons.
