The discussions highlighted opportunities for cooperation in areas such as food security, fertilisers, energy and shipbuilding and more. PM Modi also invited greater Norwegian participation in India’s clean energy initiatives and spoke about India’s reform trajectory.

Prime Minister @narendramodi had a wonderful meeting with His Majesty King Harald V in Oslo. The meeting featured warm discussions on the longstanding India-Norway friendship.

PM @narendramodi held productive talks with PM @jonasgahrstore in Oslo, during which India and Norway elevated their ties to a Green Strategic Partnership. The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in clean energy, blue economy, sustainable growth, green shipping, innovation, research, healthcare and skill development.

In a special ceremony hosted in Oslo, His Majesty King Harald V of Norway conferred upon Prime Minister @narendramodi the ‘Grand Cross of the Royal Norwegian Order of Merit’.

PM @narendramodi arrived in Oslo, Norway, a short while ago. He was received by PM @jonasgahrstore at the airport. During the visit PM Modi will call on Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway and hold talks with PM Støre. The PM will also participate in the 3rd India-Nordic Summit.

PM @narendramodi addressed the European Round Table for Industry (ERT) in Gothenburg, where he spoke about the growing India-Europe convergence and the opportunities arising from the India-EU FTA. He also highlighted India’s reform-driven growth journey.

PM @narendramodi, @SwedishPM Kristersson and HRH Crown Princess Victoria met Swedish business leaders in Gothenburg. The discussions focused on strengthening India-Sweden economic cooperation, particularly in AI, R&D, healthcare, security and other futuristic sectors. Prime Minister Modi highlighted India’s reform trajectory and the new opportunities emerging across infrastructure, innovation and technology.

PM @narendramodi held productive discussions with @SwedishPM Ulf Kristersson and HRH Crown Princess Victoria. The discussions covered expanding cooperation across defence, innovation, trade, AI and climate action. The two sides also decided to elevate the India-Sweden relationship to a Strategic Partnership.

During the visit to Gothenburg, Sweden, PM @narendramodi was conferred with the ‘Royal Order of the Polar Star, Degree Commander Grand Cross.’
