Arrival hit me at a pivotal time so it’s high for me too, but I haven’t experienced some of those classics in theaters. Seen Interstellar and Arrival multiple times in IMAX though so they are special to me

@matthewdmarks @luke_leisher_ Down by Arrival in the sense that Arrival and Edge of Tomorrow are fantastic movies, but not on the level of Interstellar ;) In my opinion, between Arrival and Interstellar are classic films like Blade Runner, Starship Troopers and Close Encounters.

@Nerdrotics I agree with this take. The movie was already long, which doesn't bother me, but I think there are some character motivation misses from the back story that would have better informed on Grace's overall character arch. Enjoyed the movie overall.

Project Hail Mary is really good. The book will always be superior, but it's a nice adaptation with a lot of heart. Rocky is the MVP. My only criticism, it's missing most of the science.

Project Hail Mary is a good movie. Solid 7.5 out of 10. For reference, I gave The Martian 8.5.

I'm not really able to choose between the Cage action trilogy. I think Face/Off is the better movie, but I find Con Air more rewatchable.
