Don’t get stuck in bitterness, self-pity, and “why me?” Your future is not dependent on what you’ve lost. The good news is, you are graced to go. God is breathing on your life. Courage is rising up, strength, favor, the right people. He’s working all things for your good. Stay in faith and you’ll step into the new things He has in store.

It may be unfair; you don’t understand it. Don’t just go through it; grow through it. God sees what’s happening. That’s one chapter in the book that’s He’s written for your life. There are many great chapters up ahead.

Just because something can be done is not enough of a reason that it should be done.

There will be times when it feels like God has forgotten about you. If you judge your life by where you are right now, you’ll get discouraged. What you can’t see is what’s coming. You have to endure some things, looking forward to the joy that’s on the way.

God’s not limited by your education, your experience, who you know, how you were raised. He knows how to bring the fish. You do your part and let Him in your boat. When you honor Him, God will bless you in ways you’ve never imagined.

It’s pretty amazing that Almighty God—the One Who created the universe and everything we see—loves and treasures each one of us. You’re the apple of His eye! Take a little time each morning to pray and give all your concerns to Him before you start your day. Then take a moment to meditate on this truth: God loves you, He sees you, He cares about every single detail of your life. (See Romans 8:38–39; Psalm 139; Isaiah 41:10.) #JoyceQuote

We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose. -Romans 8:28 There are many causes of disappointment, ranging from minor letdowns to major setbacks, and Satan wants to use the disappointments in our life to steal our joy. He wants to keep us discouraged so that we won’t receive all that Jesus died to give us. No matter what the causes of disappointment—physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual—as soon as we feel disappointment coming on, we can choose to resist it immediately and take whatever action the Lord leads us to take. As soon as we start feeling disappointed (especially if it is a recurring issue), it is important for us to say to ourselves, I’m going to focus on the goodness of God in my life today. Whatever I may have lost is nothing compared to all I have gained in Christ. When you have this attitude, it will keep those disappointments from turning to discouragement and even depression. Jesus gave us the “garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness” (Isaiah 61:3 KJV). This is something we can choose to put on rather than sinking into despair when things don’t go our way. Resisting the enemy and making a conscious, determined choice to joyfully praise God even in the tough times will allow you to overcome disappointments and be a powerful Christian each and every day. When you’re not sure what to do, stand on the Word of God and declare His promises over your life.

The Scripture says, “Is there anything too hard for the Lord?” You may have situations that seem impossible, over your head. You don’t see a way. I’m not saying you’re not going to feel doubt. I’m saying, never doubt God’s mighty power. Never doubt what the Creator of the Universe can do.

David said in Psalm 65, “God will crown the year with a bountiful harvest, even the hard places will overflow with abundance.” This overflow is not just to accomplish dreams, not just to go further, but you’re going to see overflow in the hard places. You’re going to overflow with strength, overflow with wisdom, overflow with health, overflow with favor.

No one grows spiritually by osmosis or without overcoming the resistance to change.

We tend to think that worrying is no big deal, but do you know that it can cause you to miss a destiny moment? When we’re anxious and stressed, we allow our daily cares to pull us away from Him. Instead, we need to give our undivided focus to Jesus.

The scripture says, “Cast all your anxiety on Him.” You can’t go around carrying everything, trying to figure it all out, trying to control things you have no control over. Do yourself a favor and start giving those anxieties to God.

The enemy whispers, “Look what you just did. God won’t accept you.” How do you answer that? “That’s right. I am unworthy. But Jesus Christ is worthy, and my identity is fully in Him and what He did for me.” It’s almost too simple, isn’t it? That’s because God’s favor and grace are undeserved.

Delayed obedience and incomplete obedience amount to disobedience.
