@prisma is so frustrating. every 2 weeks there's a breaking update and it's always a guessing game for what went wrong every time.

Spent the whole evening wrestling with AWS + my local setup and honestly my brain feels a little light-headed right now 😅 What started as a simple deployment turned into a chain of issues. First my Prisma setup somehow got corrupted. After digging for a while I realized it was actually a local code issue. Fixed that and finally the backend started running. Then I connected it to the frontend… and everything crashed again. More debugging later, I discovered the real problem: my database password was inside .env, and since .env is ignored by Git, the server obviously didn’t have those environment variables. Added the env variables manually on the server, restarted the backend, and finally things started working. Finished the night by setting up PM2 for process management so the backend keeps running. Frontend CI/CD is already done. Backend CI/CD still pending — tomorrow’s battle. #AWS #DevOps #FullStackDevelopment #NodeJS #Prisma #CI_CD #PM2 #WebDevelopment #LearnInPublic

@prisma Once I 've almost wanted to quit prisma because it lacked on the dynamic aspect of everything. But today i' ve seen how prisma next will look like, and I must admit that I love it. Also the latest v7 brings many improvements in that area, I can just thank you all.

Over time we kept running into the same problem with Prisma ORM. The architecture that got us here started slowing us down. Fixes took longer. Adding new capabilities got harder. So we asked: what would Prisma look like if we rebuilt it today?
