Six years ago it we thought it'd take 10 million qubits to break any Bitcoin public key. Four years ago it was 2 million qubits. 16 hours ago Google published a paper showing it can be done with 500,000 qubits in 20 minutes. Race is on. Top prize? $76 billion: Satoshi wallet

Your parents are getting older at 75 and they haven’t told you how scared they are. They are not dying, or becoming a problem, or of being the reason you’re stressed, the reason your money is tight, the reason your patience runs out. They watch you build your life and they quietly pray they are not in the way of it. That silence you mistake for peace, it isn’t always peace. Sometimes it’s a 70-year-old man swallowing his needs because he doesn’t want to be a burden to the child he suffered to raise, sometimes it’s a 68-year-old woman who once moved mountains for her family, now unable to move without help, smiling so you don’t worry. They have already grieved the version of themselves that was strong, they did that alone, quietly, at night. What they have left is you. Not your money, not your success, you. Your voice on the phone, your presence in the room, the way you look at them like they still matter, like they are not just a responsibility to manage but a person to love. One day there will be no one left to call you by the name they gave you, in the voice that first said it, no one who remembers who you were before the world got to you. That day is coming, you don’t know when. So before it arrives, go home, sit down, put the phone away, let them talk. The chair will empty, make sure you left nothing unsaid. Goodnight

i remember when i couldn’t afford the lifestyle i wanted yet, but every friday evening i’d walk into a high-end hotel lobby like i belonged there... one hot coffee, same corner seat and my laptop intentionally open. nobody knew i went back to a small wretched apartment after… all they saw was someone comfortable in that environment. week after week, i stopped feeling out of place. i started observing how people spoke, how deals were discussed and how confidence actually looked in real life... one night, someone struck up a conversation with me 😂 he assumed i was a regular. that single moment led to an opportunity i wasn’t qualified for on paper, but i carried myself like i was. could you believe that months later, my life caught up to the environment i had been quietly exposing myself to, nothing magical happened… i just stopped seeing that world as theirs and started seeing it more as mine. look bro, the shift isn’t money first, it’s familiarity and mindset.

Delulu Tip for Today 🥂 Go where "wealthy" people go. You don’t have to spend like them. Can’t afford to stay at the 5-star hotel? Go have coffee in the lobby. Can’t afford dinner at the fancy restaurant? Sit at the bar and order one drink. Your nervous system doesn’t care how much you spent. It only cares that you were THERE. Breathing that air. Sitting in that space. Surrounded by that energy. You just told your brain “this is my normal.” And when wealth feels normal? It becomes inevitable.

So after complete obliteration of Iran and its military capabilities, USA and Israel have achieved the following: 1. Iran’s regime is still in place and is more hardline than it ever was before 2. Iran is selling more oil and at $100 3. Oil sanctions are no longer effective 4. Middle Eastern economies have been devastated and oil infrastructure damaged with medium term consequences 5. Israel is being pounded from three directions with considerable damage that has been suppressed by force 6. U.S. navy has run away from the Persian Gulf 7. Oil prices doubled. 8. Iran now controls 20% of world oil flows which may increase to 30% if Iran decides to close shipping in the Red Sea. (through Houthis) 9. Strait of Hormuz will remain under Iran’s control for foreseeable future. 10. Iran is likely to get out of NPT and develop nuclear weapons. 11. Trump has done so well in the war that he is likely to lose midterms. 12. Netanyahu who used to shamelessly roam around has been mostly in hiding 13. U.S. bases in the Gulf have been obliterated and Iran says U.S. must leave Middle East now 14. The world is likely to experience inflation and low economic growth in the next year. 15. The entire world opinion has changed in favour of Iran. 16. NATO and European allies have refused to participate in the war. Thank you for your attention to the matter.

🚨 Do you understand what Oracle just did.. they fired 30,000 people.. via 6 AM email.. while reporting a 95% increase in net income last quarter.. Oracle isn't a struggling company .. Oracle made MORE money than ever.. and still fired 30,000 people because they're spending $156 billion on AI data centres instead.. and Larry Ellison.. the guy who just fired 30,000 families.. is worth $200 billion.. the 3rd richest person on earth.. he owns an entire Hawaiian island.. Lanai.. 98% of it.. bought it for $300 million like it was a vacation home.. this is the same playbook every single time.. IBM fired 7,800 and replaced them with AI in 2023.. Amazon cut 27,000 the same year while reporting record revenue.. Atlassian cut thousands while profits climbed.. Google laid off 12,000 while sitting on $100 billion in cash.. they told you to learn to code.. you learned to code.. they told you to upskill.. you upskilled.. and then they replaced you with the thing you helped build and sent the termination letter before you woke up.. the company made record profits and decided the reward for that was firing the people who made it happen.

Eran 50 centavos. Me miró a mí.

The problem with saying “Israel controls our government” is that it is fundamentally incorrect. Jews control our government. Israel is just an extension of world Jewish power. If Israel disappeared tomorrow, jewish organizations would still be actively supporting abortion, opening your borders, rigging your stock market, blackmailing your politicians, and taking advantage of your people via debt slavery… Read about any of the jewish expulsions that have happened throughout European history…. While suppressed in your Robert Maxwell textbooks, it’s not really that hard to find…
ROY@roy_is_living

For the longest time I thought the "Israel controls our country" people were as crazy as the "there are secretly lizard people" type conspiracy people Nope. It turns out a country like 1/200th our size with like 8 million people and the GDP of one state literally controls our country. That is insane.

I'm doing some back of the envelope math on buying vs renting. Say you buy a $1M house with 20% down at about 6% mortgage rate and plan to stay there for five years. Your principal paydown in the first five years is about $57,000, but you've paid about $230,000 in interest. You've also paid roughly $100,000 in property taxes, insurance, and maintenance. Say the house appreciated 2.5% every year — so when you sell it's worth about $1.13 million. Your all-in costs to sell are about 7.5% — brokerage commissions, transfer taxes, attorney fees, title insurance, and the inevitable post-inspection negotiation. On a $1.13M sale that's about $85K in fees. So you net about $1.046M. You still owe $743K on the mortgage. You walk away with about $303K in cash — your $200K down payment back, your $57K in principal, and about $46K in net profit from appreciation. Your non-recoverable costs — interest, property tax, insurance, maintenance — were about $330K over five years, or about $5,500/month. That's your effective rent. But you "made" $46K selling, or about $770/month — so your effective rent was about $4,700/month. Not bad, but you tied up $200K for five years to get there. And if appreciation was 1.5% instead of 2.5%, that net gain basically disappears and you're paying $5,400+/month in effective rent. And this assumes there's appreciation at all — and that something doesn't go wrong with your house that needs a major remodel or repair. On a five-year horizon at 6% rates, you need everything to go right on appreciation just to make ownership competitive with renting. The transaction costs eat most of your upside. What am I missing? Anything?
