Project Nami 2.4.2 released, includes security updates from #WordPress 5.4.2 and removal of query translation dependency on parsed_types file projectnami.org/project-nami-2…
@d_barwikowski Some do, some do not. We try to translate queries, but can't handle every situation. The more invasive the plugin, the less likely it will work. For example, DB backup plugins certainly do not work.
@projectnami
I'm to WordPress and it mifht be silly question:
Does plugins that interact with DB work?
I assume, that plugins can do whatever they want, so probably not
@EctoCoolerRanch Perhaps. It was a very old version as we had significant issues trying to update it. The best option is to connect the site directly to our GitHub repo. projectnami.org/video-updating…
@projectnami has Project Nami been removed from the Azure Marketplace? I'm doing research for a customer who said they deployed it from the Marketplace in August but it doesn't show now.
@azureguy_ni If the SqlSrv driver is available, it should work with a manual config of deployment settings. We tested against SQL Server on Linux during that beta.
