And then I asked him what portion of the federal budget is spent on war versus social programs and welfare. “50% for the Pentagon and 10% for welfare programs.” I told him it was basically reversed and that social entitlements and welfare spending was actually more than 60%. Again, he was shocked. The resentment and envy machine that drives the political left’s slogans thrives on people simply not knowing.

On Wednesday of this week Enoch Burke sought an extension of time from the Court of Appeal to appeal the judgment of Judge Alexander Owens in 2023 upholding his suspension. This application follows serious developments in recent days, including a Department of Education statement issued in January this year that there is “no legal obligation” on schools to use “preferred pronouns” of students. In particular the Court of Appeal must address the issue of whether the instruction by Principal Niamh McShane to use the “they” pronoun for a male student was lawful. Today High Court Judge Micheal O’Connell (appointed in 2026) refused to grant an injunction restraining the Disciplinary Appeal Panel proceedings pending the outcome of the Court of Appeal case. Enoch Burke must now go before this panel while the key issue of his case — whether the instruction of Principal Niamh McShane to use the “they” pronoun for a male student was lawful — has not been ruled upon by the Court of Appeal. This is a travesty of justice.

The homeowner told police, "This naked man is three inches from my face, holding a key up to me yelling at me that I was on his property. He never wants to see me again. I should leave." Jackson then reportedly told Omondi that it was not his house. Omondi then shoved the homeowner and hit Jackson with a piece of wood repeatedly, before chasing the homeowner back inside and returning to beat Jackson to death. A mental evaluation report declared Omondi was “legally insane” during the attack. Omondi will now be transferred from jail to a state mental hospital. Kasey DeLeon, Jackson’s daughter, said, "I've heard that the mental hospital is a lot worse than jail, and so that kind of brings me some comfort, but then I hear he has the potential to have outpatient, and that kind of scares me."
