To @assampolice @DGPAssamPolice @CMOfficeAssam @himantabiswa @SonitpurPolice @DCSonitpur @Pijush_hazarika @guwahatiplus @mygovassam I am filing this formal complaint regarding a serious incident of threats, intimidation, and unlawful obstruction of legally authorized work at Air Force Station Tezpur (Sonabheel Gate). My cousins and I are carrying out work under my late father’s firm. We have been performing this work for Air Force Station Tezpur for several years without any issues. We currently hold a valid work order and purchase order issued by the Air Force authorities, authorizing us to continue the assigned tasks. However, on the recent occasion, two individuals—Robin Lakhra and another associate—unlawfully obstructed our work at Sonabheel Gate. Robin Lakhra destroyed the official challan in front of multiple witnesses, used abusive language, and openly threatened us. He stated that we would not be allowed to work unless we “bring the police,” and further claimed that they “do not fear the police” and that we may “do whatever we want.” In addition to this, several individuals have been making threatening phone calls and engaging in continuous intimidation (“dadagiri”), insisting that they will not allow us to carry out the work at Air Force Station Tezpur despite our valid documents. They have openly stated that even the police cannot stop them. These individuals operate in a group, display aggressive behavior, and appear prepared for confrontation. Their actions are clearly intended to take control of the work site through unlawful means. Despite having all legal papers, the official work order, and the purchase order, they are preventing us from performing the assigned duties and creating a hostile and unsafe environment. This situation has escalated to the point where our safety is at risk, and the work at Air Force Station Tezpur is being forcibly halted. I urgently request immediate intervention to: Ensure our safety and protection at the work site Prevent further threats, obstruction, and unlawful interference Take strict legal action against the individuals involved Ensure that the assigned work at Air Force Station Tezpur can proceed without disruption The destruction of official documents, threats, and intimidation are serious criminal acts. Immediate action is necessary to prevent further escalation. Thank you for your prompt attention.

TO DIDI, WITH LOVE & ADMIRATION. Redoubtable. Formidable. @MamataOfficial's remarkable courage, vibrant & irrepressible personality and tenacious determination is deeply inspiring for me; she is a UNIQUE leader and chief minister. Contrary to media stereotypes she is a gifted administrator with many policy successes under her belt, including an enduring welfare and empowerment model that has been awarded by the United Nations. Didi changed the face of Kolkata from the dilapidated Left Front years to the extent that Bengal now gets the second largest number of international tourists in India. Three years into her first term - she came to power in 2011-she was landed with the @narendramodi regime at the Centre ( by 2014) a hostile central government which did not allow her to work, denied Central funds to Bengal, and blocked central schemes in Bengal even as she fought to consolidate herself politically. ( We MUST recall that Modi as Gujarat Chief Minster was allowed to project his so called “Gujarat model” when a benevolent Manmohan Singh was PM in Delhi). Mamata Banerjee also did act against some of her own associates accused of wrong-doing and did not fight shy of prosecuting them. It has required a captured @ECISVEEP , 2 lakh security forces and an entire Modi-@AmitShah led system to defeat this towering indomitable warrior who fought every inch of the way, a roaring tigress speared from all sides. The manner in which she was hit and manhandled in the counting centre in Bhabanipur is beyond condemnable. Am deeply proud to have, in my own small way, fought this fight with @MamataOfficial and @AITCofficial and to be part of her self- built , spirited party which has given so many women real representation and visibility. The media character assassination directed at Mamata Banerjee is in no small measure because of the entrenched hostility - even hatred- women still continue to face in public life. We have been defeated at the polls and bow to the will of the people . But the fight for democracy, justice and democratic rights and for representation of women continues under the symbol of the leaf and flower, which stands bravely upright, close to the ground of our beloved land. Joy Bangla. Jai Samvidhan. Mamata Banerjee Zindabad.

When an opposition thrives on division, instinctively opposes anything that strengthens India, amplifies every negative story, and demeans the majority while staying silent on its own failures—that’s not democracy at work, that’s hypocrisy at its worst. What we’re seeing from Congress today isn’t constructive criticism; it’s a pattern of selective outrage and political opportunism that weakens national confidence. Supporting narratives, forces, or even foreign positions that undermine India’s interests isn’t dissent—it’s irresponsibility. India absolutely needs a strong opposition. But strength doesn’t come from leadership that defaults to negativity, avoids accountability, and fails to present a credible alternative vision. We need an opposition that questions with integrity, not one led by Rahul Gandhi or echoed by voices like you that refuse to apply the same standards across the board. Congress mukt bharat is the requirement of today.

Final thought after long counting day : From 2 MPs and zero states in 1984, BJP has now won 3 consecutive LS elections and is in power or alliance in 21 states. From zero seats in 2011 to 206 in 2026 in West Bengal .. From 3 seats in 2011 to 101 in Assam in 2026.. From one seat in the long history of Keralam politics to now 3 in 2026, From being irrelevant in Puducherry to now being in ruling alliance.. As the BJP’s relentless election machine rolls on, are we heading for an ‘opposition mukt Bharat’ in the age of Moditva or will there be a pushback? And who will drive it when there is no level playing field? Unless you are a Vijay in TN!! Good night, shubhratri!🙏

Note: The actual deletions were more than 90 lakhs but I’m specifically talking about 27 lakh figure because that’s the number of people that had appealed against their deletion.

27 Lakh Voters were deleted in West Bengal. These were not 'dead people' or 'bangladeshis'. These were real people who had already appealed to get their votes restored. The Supreme court could’ve delayed the West Bengal elections until the tribunals finished hearing the appeals of these voters. But they didn’t. Only around 1607 voters were restored in time by phase 2 of these elections. Almost every appeal that was heard turned out to be a wrongful deletion. In any functional democracy, this would not count as a free and fair election where a large section of voters have lost their voting rights. I'm not saying that TMC would've won for sure if they were added back, maybe BJP would still win, but the question is about the fairness of these elections. Free and fair elections are a spectrum. Ever since Delhi-Maharashtra-Bihar-Bengal, this needle has moved more and more towards being unfair. Each time somehow the opposition parties participate as usual in the electoral process thinking that they can still pull of a win despite the compromised EC, ED, CBI etc. and each time they have been proven wrong after 2024 Lok Sabha. The question is, at what point will they feel that the level of unfairness is so unfair that elections should be boycotted? I personally feel TMC should have refused to participate in these elections until all those 27 lakh appeals were finished being heard.

Assam and Bengal are clear cases of the election being stolen by the BJP with the support of the EC. We agree with Mamata ji. More than 100 seats were stolen in Bengal. We have seen this playbook before: Madhya Pradesh. Haryana. Maharashtra. Lok Sabha 2024 etc चुनाव चोरी, संस्था चोरी - अब और चारा ही क्या है!

Many have praised me for getting Bengal right. But they have missed that I missed TN. I completely underestimated TVK and miscalculated how they will impact DMK/ADMK votes. Tremendous performance by them. Kudos to Vijay and how he has fought to get such great results on debut.

@krishiv2023 Both DMK and TMC will go next elections, respectively. BJP will take Bengal. AIADMK TN.
