Full speed ahead. America’s largest quantum computing project continues to take shape at the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park on Chicago’s South Side, where the shell of PsiQuantum’s first building—spanning over 65,000 square feet—is now complete.

PsiQuantum is manufacturing America's quantum future. Today, the company announced that we have signed a Letter of Intent with the U.S. Department of @CommerceGov for $100 million in proposed federal incentives under the CHIPS and Science Act to advance American quantum computing and semiconductor leadership. With this planned funding, combined with PsiQuantum's existing U.S.-anchored supply chain, the company will accelerate the domestic manufacturability and performance of our state-of-the-art components, including Barium Titanate (BTO) for higher-performance optical switches, high-temperature single-photon detectors, and advanced packaging approaches. The United Kingdom has long been ahead of the curve in recognizing the world-changing potential of quantum computing, and public-sector support has a vital role to play in the UK's continued leadership in quantum. PsiQuantum's deep UK roots include four co-founders with extensive academic experience at the University of Bristol and Imperial College—as well as our pioneering R&D facility at the @STFC_Matters campus in Daresbury. This week, @HMTreasury announced a historic new investment to establish the National Cryogenic Facility at STFC Daresbury, which will enable PsiQuantum to accelerate and scale our advanced testing in Daresbury as we continue toward building the world's first utility-scale quantum computers. PsiQuantum and @nvidia have partnered to bring the CUDA-Q platform to PsiQuantum’s software platform Construct and Workbench tool, accelerating research on utility-scale quantum algorithms.​ This integration enables GPU-accelerated state-vector simulation, delivering up to 450× faster performance compared to CPU-based simulation.​ Developers can now validate and benchmark complex quantum algorithms at scales previously impractical with CPU-based simulators.​ Early access to the integration is available by request, allowing Construct users to experience the benefits of GPU acceleration for their largest simulation workloads. bit.ly/416OkAm
