It was a blast speaking to so many industry peers and media! 🥰 NeoBards Studio Creative Director AL YANG (@QQBert) took to the stage with SILENT HILL f: The Challenges of Creating a Melee Only Horror Game to delve into how NeoBards designed and shaped the brand new combat system as well as the horror experience. The talk was a deep dive into the team’s efforts in balancing atmosphere and combat pacing within a “melee-only⚔️” combat system. AL Yang shed light on the team’s thinking in terms of concepts, mechanics, and how key challenges were overcome.
