UNIONS TO STRIKE AS PnP CUTS SALARIES Pick n Pay is attempting to slash costs by cutting working hours, scrapping 13th cheques and removing transport allowances for roughly 22,000 store workers. The retailer, which recorded a R3.2bn loss in 2024, says its labour model is unsustainable.
