@MarkRober inspired my YT channel, making it all the sweeter hearing his take on the knife thrower.

I doubt it too. There's a "Promote" button where I can pay to spread it, but on IG and YT it gets views for free because it's worthy content. Here I pay for a checkmark but my stuff goes nowhere. Kinda discouraging.🫤

@QuintBUILDs I highly doubt that on X there is much traffic. But on other socials shorts like this have a high potential

@joeltelling I predict in <5 years we'll have the equivalent of certified organic but on content instead of food. If you don't want AI (pesticides/herbicides) you can filter for videos without it. I should make a label now and start using it on all my stuff!

@joeltelling Wholeheartedly agree for many reasons. Primarily, where does the madness stop? Manual mills/lathes do a better job than any 3D printer. Plus crimes committed with said gun are already ILLEGAL. This legislation only hurts the honest DIY community!

Joel Telling - 3D Printing Nerd ✋
Washington state legislators introduced HB 2320 & HB 2321 for 2025 - 2026. If you care about makers, 3D printing, open tools, and innovation, you should be concerned. This is not good legislation and it needs to be challenged NOW, not after it’s passed.

Hahaha oh no. New anti-manufacturing law in WA defines both additive and subtractive manufacturing as 3D printing. Anyone selling manufactured parts or equipment to residents of WA are subject to fines & imprisonment. Is Washington about to nuke its aerospace industry?
