This week I’ve had the pleasure of going out and about to meet my new colleagues from North Mid and I also got to spend an afternoon at St Michael’s, the hub for North Mid’s community services. I’m looking forward to meeting many more of you in the next few weeks.

The Lord Darzi review published this week highlighted again the importance of preventative healthcare and not just hospital based treatment. Here at @RoyalFreeNHS we challenged ourselves to put the health of our local populations at the heart of our new clinical strategy. 👇

Great to welcome @BBCHughPym to see our PET scanner and meet our amazing staff helping our patients with cancer to be diagnosed and treated sooner. We're one of the largest providers of cancer care in the UK and this PET scanner will allow us to see and treat even more patients.

So great to see our first patients treated through our new Quadra PET scanner 👏 Not only we will be able to scan more patients, more quickly, but also drive forward our specialist clinical research in new areas including cancer. Brilliant work and big thank you @RoyalFreeChty 👍
