Just leaving Figure’s critical design review for F.04 - the robot is now in full design lock and we're starting to ship parts F.04 is by far the biggest leap we’ve ever made between robot generations. The level of engineering advances in this system is on a completely different level At Figure, engineering reviews are extremely rigorous. We start with high-level architecture reviews and work all the way down to detailed reviews on every millimeter, watt, and gram of the robot. We've engineered something really mind blowing and I can't wait to show the world what this team is capable of One easter egg - the image in the background is from earlier F.04 design reviews :)

Tesla navigation will save a pin exactly where you dropped it, and navigate to it, for a few days, maybe a week, and then automatically moves the pin to some random nearest address. This changes where the vehicle navigates to on FSD to THE WRONG LOCATION, usually not even on the right side of the road. This bug needs fixed. It has been like this for a long time, maybe always. Pin was placed on the star, and saved as a favorite. The favorite automatically moved to the X. This bug is reproducible.

The man who put 50 million Roombas in our homes is back with a new vision for "Artificial Life". iRobot co-founder Colin Angle’s new startup, Familiar Machines & Magic, just unveiled "Familiars"—expressive, soft-coated quadrupeds designed for human connection rather than factory labor. With 23 degrees of freedom and strictly on-device AI, these robots aim to conquer the $2.5 trillion "emotional work" frontier without the privacy risks of the cloud.

BREAKING: First-Ever Full Tour of Figure's Humanoid HQ CEO Brett Adcock Exclusive look through every department on their San Jose campus: BotQ Factory, Testing, Design, Demos & more. Brett walks us through how Figure is built: - System integration lab: where robots are stress-tested with software faults & physical pushes - Helix AI: team floor where the controls & neural network engineers train the vision-language-action model that runs onboard every Figure robot - Reinforcement learning & stability testing: where Figure demos the Vulcan project — surviving a lost knee mid-task - Home: environment where Figure 03 autonomously tidies a living room using their Helix neural network (no teleoperation) - BotQ: manufacturing facility where heads, batteries, and limbs come together on the assembly line, including the custom-built battery line & end-of-line burn-in bays - Industrial design studio: (opened publicly for the first time) housing every generation of Figure robot ever built, including: Figure 01 with its Frankenstein forearms, Figure 02, & the sleek Figure 03 that recently appeared at the White House, plus the evolution of Figure's hands & feet Brett shares why he believes humanoid robots may achieve AGI before any other form factor, why Figure pivoted entirely from hand-coded controls to neural networks, & teases that Figure 04 will be their "iPhone 1 moment." This was so much fun! Big thank you to Brett & the team at Figure for opening the doors for us! @adcock_brett @Figure_robot 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐒 (00:00) Inside Figure’s Humanoid Campus (00:48) The humanoid factory (03:18) First humanoid guest at the White House (05:29) Controlling a robot with infinite movements (10:46) The truth about robot failures (13:00) Attacking a humanoid robot (testing responses) (16:12) Building a general purpose robot (23:05) The "Never Fall" protocol (28:56) Is the home robot teleoperated? Elon and the team sounded focused on the call in a way I’ve never heard in years of listening to them. It’s game time. For the first time they’re not talking about how one day there will be robotaxis and how great it will be… now they’re actually rolling up their sleeves and doing it. They have the weight of that on their shoulders, and you can hear it. They’re thinking through details like deployment, hardware upgrades, and how to get FSD Unsupervised on customer cars. They’re going to be investing $25 billion into the business this year. They’re done messing around. It’s game on. Reminds me a bit of the early days of Model 3. When they get in this mode, nothing can stop them.

Fantastic video telling the story of the most important car of our lifetime Model S changed the world
Hagerty@Hagerty

Tesla Never Stopped Developing The Model S — Revelations with @JasonCammisa The Tesla Model S is the most significant car of the last 75 years. It entered production as a Car of the Year winner, but never stopped improving. The world's first software-defined car was continually upgraded, in both hardware and software, so that the final Signature Edition shares little more than its name and skin with the original. This is the story of the Tesla Model S.

Now that @Tesla has publicly announced the final Cybercab in bright, glossy gold and that production SOP (Start or Production) has happened, here are some views of several at Giga Texas today in the outbound lot. As you can visually see, these are very noticeably different from the wrapped engineering versions. These look so good out in the sun for the first time!

Well, that was a (unexpectedly) great @Tesla Q1 earnings report! Beat on revenue, EPS, gross margins, free cash flow, net income, etc. Record new FSD subscriptions, Cortex 2 is already training, Optimus factory construction at Giga Texas has started, Cybercab production has started, Tesla Semi and Megapack 3 production is starting soon, LFP battery factory in Nevada is ramping, research chip fab construction has started construction, etc. The company is entering a new chapter.

Here is a summary of Tesla’s Q1 2026 Earnings Call, if you missed it: Elon Musk opened with "We’re going to be substantially increasing our investments in the future, so you should expect to see a very significant increase in capital expenditures. I think it’s well justified for a substantially increased future revenue stream." • The V3 Optimus design is almost ready to demonstrate. Unveil will happen during the middle of this year. • Elon wants to unveil the new design closer to production since competitors will copy the robot's design, as they did with previous versions. • Optimus V3 production could begin around July-August of this year. • Tesla is already discussing ideas for Dojo3. • Tesla has finalized plans for the research chip fab on the Giga Texas campus, and will start construction of that this year. • Tesla expects EU-wide FSD approval later in Q2. • Tesla is working on getting broader FSD approval in China, hopefully by Q3. • Tesla: "We now emphasize FSD as a product and vehicle as only the delivery mechanism." • Tesla expects 2026 Energy deployments to be higher than 2025. • The last S/X production will be in Early May. • Tesla has been dismantling S/X production lines to make way for Optimus production. • Elon says he hopes to have Unsupervised FSD or Robotaxi operating in a dozen or so states by the end of this year. • There has been no injuries to date with Robotaxi. • Elon thinks FSD or Robotaxi revenue will not be super material this year, but thinks it’ll be material probably in a significant way next year. • Elon predicts Unsupervised FSD will be available in customer cars in Q4 2026: "I think we would release unsupervised gradually to the customer fleet as we feel like a particular geography is confirmed to be safe." • Elon says HW3 cannot achieve Unsupervised FSD. Tesla will offer upgrades to HW4 by setting up micro-factories in major metropolitan areas to make the switch. • Tesla will offer a trade-in discount for HW3 customers who want to upgrade to a new AI4 car. • Ashok says HW3 V14 "lite” will release by the end of June. It will include start of park, and other V14 features in AI4 V14. • Elon thinks it makes sense to eventually upgrade all HW3 cars to HW4 so the can join the Robotaxi fleet. • Elon says Tesla’s new AI5 chip is not immediately needed in the car, since AI4 can achieve far greater than human safety levels. • Tesla is planning a AI4+ upgrade, to use a newer generation RAM. It’ll go from 16B to 32B per SoC, so a total of 64 GB. "Probably a 10% increase in compute in trillions of operations per second and in memory bandwidth." • Production of AI4+ begins in the middle of next year. • Elon Musk says FSD V15 will release at the end of 2026, or early 2027. • AI4 hardware will be able to run FSD V15.
