@RUHBath following on from my last post, Can RUH Bath please comment, is this not an awful way to treat an 81 year old patient. It is shameful.

@RUHBath An 81 year old friend was referred by his doctor to RUH immediately following an appointment at 4.30pm yesterday 2nd December. The ambulance didn't show until 2.45am. He told me the reception area is chaotic. He didn't see a doctor until 10am today

Good hand hygiene is the best defence against #norovirus. Keep hands clean with soap and water. It can survive on contaminated surfaces for days. 🏥Do not go to school, nursery, work or visit others in hospital until you have not been sick or had diarrhoea for 2 days

Norovirus, the winter vomiting bug, causes vomiting and diarrhoea. It usually gets better in 2 days. Rest, drink fluids, and avoid fruit juice. Call NHS/111 if worried. Do: 🛌 Rest 💧 Drink fluids 💊Take paracetamol if you're in discomfort #Norovirus #WinterVomiting #NHS111
