Delby Powless is a product of Six Nations—and one of the most dynamic scorers of his era. A first overall pick in the NLL Draft, Powless made his mark with the Buffalo Bandits, helping capture a championship in 2008, and added an MLL title with the Toronto Nationals in 2009. On the world stage, he starred for the Iroquois Nationals, earning All-World honors and leading the tournament in scoring in 2003. At a time when most Native players gravitated toward Syracuse, Powless broke new ground—emerging as one of the early Native American standouts at Rutgers, proving his game could thrive at the highest levels of Division I lacrosse anywhere.
