When bandits left me alive in a bush full of de@d girls

A HEALER IN NEED OF HEALING Mustapha Bashir Ayodeji, a 300L MBBS student at Unilorin, was studying to save lives. Now, he’s fighting for his own. Bashir has been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Failure. His dreams are on hold as he faces grueling weekly dialysis.

“His money is my money”. Your private part is my private part.

Most of the men who are quick to insult women can’t even approach a woman in real life.

So if an absent father is a deadbeat what is an absent mother?

Day 41 of #JusticeForOchanya 💔 Another day, my heart still aches for our little Ochanya. Sent to “family” for safety and school, this innocent 13-year-old from Benue was raped repeatedly from age 8 by her uncle Andrew Ogbuja (a lecturer) and his son Victor. The abuse destroyed her body with vesicovaginal fistula. She smiled through the pain until it took her life in October 2018. Andrew walks free. Victor remains a fugitive. The silence from @BenuePoliceNG, @benuestategovt and @PoliceNG protects them. We demand: Arrest Victor Ogbuja NOW. Re-open the case. Protect our girls. Ochanya, your blood still cries out. Rest in power, beautiful angel. We see you, we feel you. We are not tired. We are not forgetting. We are not stopping. 🙏 #JusticeForOchanya #ArrestVictorOgbuja #ProtectTheGirlChild

Learning that many experts in the medical community view PCOS as a misnomer because the name doesn’t fully capture the multilayered nature of the condition and focuses on just one aspect really puts a lot of things into perspective.

My hot take: if someone proposes to you in public and you already know the answer is no, you should say YES in that moment. Seriously. I watched a guy get turned down at a baseball game and it was devastating. Imagine that kind of rejection in front of a stadium full of people, then having it spread online for millions to see. That's a brutal level of public humiliation and trauma. It's far kinder to save them from that spectacle.

I’m not happy in this Nigeria atalll.
