Photojournalist Hussein Hammoud was murdered with 2 other team members in an Israeli strike on Nabatieh, south Lebanon. Hammoud was among Al Manar team covering the events of the war in south Lebanon. He was deliberately targeted when he was at his office in Nabatieh. Murdering Journalists is a war crime that continues to go unpunished and thus makes Israelis repeat it whenever they are frustrated from resistance operations and need to retaliate. Last week 2 journalists were almost killed by an airstrike on a bridge. Remember Hussein and his colleagues, as they were a crucial part of the process of showing the truth about the situation here.

This morning, Israeli forces accompanied by police dogs stormed the home of the Basbous family and forcibly removed them from their property in the Batn Al-Hawa neighborhood of Silwan in occupied Jerusalem, while also seizing two additional homes for the benefit of settler organizations.

Mohammad Hossein Dehghan, an 11‑year‑old boy who had been injured in an attack by the United States and Israel on his family’s car, was the only survivor of his five‑member family. A few hours ago, he died from the severity of his injuries and has now joined the rest of his family.

A Palestinian toddler from the Gaza strip was held by Israeli forces for roughly ten hours before being handed to the Red Cross, during which his family says he was tortured. Human rights group HaMoked confirmed the child showed injuries following putting out cigarettes on the child's body. The Israeli military claims the child’s father approached troops near the “Yellow Line” holding the toddler as a human shield and sustained minor injuries from shrapnel. The child was tortured and used to extract confessions from the father.
