@Randytalks2much You won’t be sorry, but I’m sorry your grandfather had to go through it. I’ve never had worse pain and I’ve had 2 C-sections. Thankfully, my chronic pain is not as debilitating as that horrible illness.

@JRubenqueen 💔 I’m so sorry. Last week I was going through old pictures. There was one of my grandfather (not a step to me). I was maybe 8 when he got them BAD. The biggest man (brains AND brawn) I knew was silent and just staring. Next day I picked up a prescription and a first shot.

@Randytalks2much My father-in-law had shingles but then had post heretic neuralgia which was much worse than the shingles. He was miserable. Compared to all that, arm pain is nothing.

@petitegal62 I can get most vaccines free or small copay. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate it very much. It all smells. Some money is going to someone then someone else and so on for 5-6 more layers. We can do better with healthcare. The money is somewhere and we want it back.

@Medanore It was a “herd infection”. 1 of my 3 older brothers brought it home. I put my mom through heLl. Caught everything. Then there’s sports. By high school I’d call and immediately hear “meet you at the ER-do you need a ride?”. 😅🤷‍♂️

@Randytalks2much I'm sorry you had to deal with that at such a young age. It must have been so frightening. My mom had it, and as soon as the first vaccine came out in 2006, I was in line. In 2017 they came out with the new one, again with my mom in mind, I got that one too. Never been sorry.
