@MidlandsSport how come ye had no coverage from Croke Park of the All-Ireland Colleges football final?? Surely worthy of sending someone even if not for full commentary. I suppose another example of Westmeath people being the poor relation of the 3 counties.

@coilinduffy @MidlandsSport I'll bow to you superior knowledge but I notice only 1 was an A Final of all teams named. There was huge interest in the Colaiste Mhuire game through out Westmeath and as you well know we don't get to many All-Ireland finals in any code so I felt it was a chance lost.

@RayGavin1 @MidlandsSport That's not really fair to say tbh. Westmeath has actually historically had more sports coverage from Westmeath broadcast than Laois or Offaly. Westmeath had it's own separate station for years.

Stayed to the bitter end while being serenaded by PSG fans & thinking back to the days not so long ago when Stamford Bridge was a fortress, Chelsea reigned supreme and supporters felt like they were a part of something special. That brilliant One Step Beyond feeling. Ruined.😢

If you are unhappy about Rosenior, just as if you were unhappy about Maresca, just as if you were unhappy about Pochettino, and just as if you unhappy about Potter Expecting a superior coach of the kind this club used to employ is frankly naive. There’s no interest in that.

As a matter of interest, the British Government literally closed down a football club because it's owner was allegedly linked to a Country leader who had started a war with its neighbour. Maybe the British Gov will have the balls to do something similar to these Yankee owners!!
