***PLEASE READ***PLEASE READ*** INTRODUCTION Hello all. Since I'm pretty much starting over again, I thought I'd introduce myself. My name REALLY is ray and SADLY that is REALLY me in my profile picture. Full version attached below. I'm 58, going on 90, at the time of this post. I am an honorably discharged, decorated, disabled veteran of the US Air Force. I also served in the US Border Patrol. Served as a civilian instructor in the USAF and taught our troops how to fire everything from the 9mm to the MK19 Grenade Launcher. Expert marksman in 3 out of the 4 major branches of the military. Never got a chance to shoot the Marine course of fire. My passion is Astrophotography. Since I was a small boy, I was captivated with Astronomy. I'm now an old ugly man and it is still with me. I've not lost a bit of my love for the subject. Occasionally I will get lucky and get some good terrestrial shots. I'll post those here as well. The ONLY thing I will not photograph or try my hardest not to, is ANYTHING humanity related. Politics is the bane of my existence! I get in more trouble that way. SO, this timeline will ONLY include my photography. I will not reply to any post in my timeline that mentions it, even if they are on my side! I will NOT comment on any photography posts with ANYTHING political in return. Let's just keep it all about photography. IF any of my followers THINK I am being political on their images, I implore you to let me know and I will fix the said post. Ok, that's Ray. Take it or leave it, I'm REALLY to damn old to change. My latest project. Since it's not going to be clear for the foreseeable future, here is what I'm working on. It is M-94 a really cool galaxy. This is only 77 X 5-Minute subs. Going to need WAY more data on this one. Full view for central detail.
