Guys, no one would give a fuck if the earth was flat. There’s literally no reason for anyone to convince you the earth is round, except for the fact that it is. Not understanding physics, mathematics or photography doesn’t mean something isn’t real.

@GodsBurnt Calling people low IQ for questioning things is ironic. Real intelligence is analyzing all data, not just accepting what you’re shown. Images can be faked, and shutting down questions instead of addressing them is what’s actually low IQ.

@reawilliamjames @CuriosityonX True systems can have flaws. But when multiple independent systems (GPS, aviation, astronomy, satellite data) all align and work consistently, the burden shifts from ‘maybe it’s wrong’ to ‘show clear evidence that it is.’ 👍

You’re right that most of us rely on trust but it’s not blind trust. It’s trust in systems that are independently tested, repeatable, and consistent across the world. If every result from for example GPS to aviation to astronomy points to the same conclusion, at some point it’s not just presentation it’s evidence 👍
