Pandemic parenting this week: stomach bug for baby, stomach bug for husband, fever for me. Daycare now closed for the week for Covid exposure. One day of childcare this week, 2.5 work days for each parent (Less for husband because he’s “WFH” when he’s with baby). 😵💫

Great. So my 18-month-old can’t get a vaccine Pfizer themselves say is safe & effective.
This would be like saying nobody can get vaccinated with 2 doses because 3 may be better & we’re still testing that.
Unacceptable & frankly no group that can vote would have to deal w/this

Pfizer's submitted data says 2 doses works for very young kids.
FDA pushing Pfizer to test three doses to get a stronger response for older kids suggest safety isn't the issue.
So why not let parents who want to vaccinate their children, start vaccinating their children?

DC Health reported 189 new cases today (data for the 24th), but 158 DCPS cases. That's 84% of all COVID cases coming from DCPS yesterday!!!!!!!!

DC reports 189 new coronavirus cases today, bringing the weekly case rate down to 358 new cases per 100k residents. The city also reports 54 new self-reported cases. Three DC residents died yesterday of the virus, ages 52, 64, and 79.
