Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested by federal authorities in Miami on Saturday, according to the US Marshals Service. Officials have not publicly disclosed the charges, and a Marshals Service spokesperson said the warrant remains sealed. A person familiar with the case said the arrests were connected to an extradition request from the United Kingdom, according to AP News. The brothers, who hold both US and British citizenship, are wanted in the UK in connection with rape and human trafficking allegations. They have denied wrongdoing. Andrew and Tristan Tate moved to Romania in 2016 and were arrested there in 2022 over separate allegations involving the sexual exploitation of women. That case did not proceed because of legal and procedural issues.
