I am glad to see that my bill, the Quantum in Practice Act, was included in the National Quantum Initiative Reauthorization Act that was passed out of the Science, Space, and Technology Committee’s markup last week.
Through this cutting-edge research, we can find new ways to strengthen our agricultural sector, reduce the demands of fertilizer production, and enhance quality of life across Iowa.

In honor of the Farm Bill’s passage, we’re closing out Farm Bill Friday with a very important final edition: the Future Farmers Act.
Farming is one of the toughest jobs in America, and the physical and mental toll can be immense. Our farmers should never have to face those challenges alone.
That’s why I fought to include my Future Farmers Act in the Farm Bill—to ensure producers and family farmers have access to the support and healthcare they need in times of crisis.

This Farm Bill delivers major wins for Iowa farmers, producers, and working families, and I was proud to help get it across the finish line in the House.

The House has just passed the Farm Bill with my strong support. This bill includes 15 of my bills to strengthen export markets, keep farmland in the hands of Iowans, repeal Prop 12, and deliver real results for our farmers.

Yesterday at USDA HQ, @SecRollins gave a MAJOR update on our bold actions to deliver affordable fertilizer to American farmers and secure our long-term supply chain. This challenge has worsened for decades, and now our farmers are left with high fertilizer costs. Joined by @SecretaryBurgum, @EPALeeZeldin, Director Hassett, Secretary @howardlutnick, @SenJohnHoeven, @RogerMarshallMD, Senator @JohnBoozman, @RepAshleyHinson — The Trump Administration is tackling this head on NOW! We’ve issued Jones Act waivers, lifted import restrictions from Venezuela, announced rewriting of EPA DEF rules, pursued a USDA and @TheJusticeDept MOU on antitrust enforcement, and @SecScottBessent has encouraged the G20 to stand against export bans. High-speed internet access is essential for economic growth and community development in Iowa. I am proud to lead the Rural Broadband Modernization Act and the Lowering Broadband Costs for Consumers Act to improve broadband access in rural communities.

Tractor rollovers are the leading cause of on-farm deaths in the country, and nearly half of tractors currently in use lack rollover protection.
That’s why I introduced the Roll-Over Protection and Safety Act and worked to include it in the Farm Bill—to help farmers retrofit older tractors with proven rollover protection systems.

California’s Prop 12 is an unscientific mandate that hurts Iowa hog farmers, raises pork prices, and threatens animal health and food security.
That’s why I was proud to help lead the Save Our Bacon Act, which was included in the Farm Bill, to overturn Prop 12.
