Tonight, my bill creating a workforce home loan program (AB 454) passed the Assembly unanimously. Thank you to @Habitat_org for bringing this idea to the table and to my fellow co-authors for authoring this legislation and advocating for its passage with me. Creating a new tool for first-time homebuyers to enter the market is a great way for us to support our workforce!

#ICYMI: Last night, I joined several of my @Assembly Republican colleagues in a Press Conference to announce Senate Bills 23 and 291 being scheduled for a floor vote. These are two key women’s healthcare initiatives, with SB 23 extending BadgerCare coverage for postpartum women from 60 days to 12 months, and SB 264 (also known as “Gail’s Law”) requiring health insurance plans to cover supplemental breast cancer screenings.

.@abatewis came to the Capitol on Tuesday to discuss their legislative priorities. It was great to meet a few of my own constituents who came to discuss the issues facing motorcyclists. Seven always does a great job planning this event each year; I’m glad I was able to stop by!
