Yesterday, @GovEvers signed our bill to extend BadgerCare coverage for postpartum moms to a full year after birth. This ensures moms can access critical care when it matters most – helping ensure healthier moms and stronger starts for their babies.

March is Women’s History Month. Did you know Wisconsin played a pioneering role in the women’s suffrage movement, becoming the first state to ratify the 19th Amendment? @WisHistory

It’s Black History Month! February is a time to honor the achievements, resilience, and contributions of Black Americans whose leadership, culture, and innovation have shaped our nation. We celebrate their history not just this month, but every day.

Last week, the Oak Creek High School Robotics Team came to the State Capitol to meet with me. It was great hearing how being on the Robotics Team has helped each of them to learn and grow. Thank you for stopping by!

Tonight, my bill creating a workforce home loan program (AB 454) passed the Assembly unanimously. Thank you to @Habitat_org for bringing this idea to the table and to my fellow co-authors for authoring this legislation and advocating for its passage with me. Creating a new tool for first-time homebuyers to enter the market is a great way for us to support our workforce!

#ICYMI: Last night, I joined several of my @Assembly Republican colleagues in a Press Conference to announce Senate Bills 23 and 291 being scheduled for a floor vote. These are two key women’s healthcare initiatives, with SB 23 extending BadgerCare coverage for postpartum women from 60 days to 12 months, and SB 264 (also known as “Gail’s Law”) requiring health insurance plans to cover supplemental breast cancer screenings. youtube.com/watch?v=Qwmkg6…

.@abatewis came to the Capitol on Tuesday to discuss their legislative priorities. It was great to meet a few of my own constituents who came to discuss the issues facing motorcyclists. Seven always does a great job planning this event each year; I’m glad I was able to stop by!
