When prosecutions are selective, victims are sidelined, and public safety becomes ideological, communities suffer. We believe conservative principles — accountability, limited government, strong families, and safe communities — are the solution. Safety for our communities is achieved by allowing and empowering people to rebuild their lives responsibly. By opening doors to meaningful employment through occupational licensing, Georgia can strengthen public safety and reduce repeat offenses ⬇️

April is Second Chance Month, a time to highlight the power of reentry 👏 When offenders have a pathway to succeed after their incarceration, communities become safer, families grow stronger, and cycles of crime are broken.

#SecondChanceMonth just got started, and we are excited to announce that @NC_Governor has officially declared April as Second Chance Month in the great state of North Carolina!🎉

The majority of reentry programs are built with men in mind, but women face unique challenges when returning to their communities. LA HB 168 proposes a transitional reentry pilot program for women that would address those needs, helping them succeed in their entrance back to society and making communities safer in the process 👇 @dwighthudson

Legislatures across the country must look at establishing case use inventories to better understand what and how technology is being used. Establish clear acceptable usage standards that include auditing and accountability measures.
