@theiaincameron Had the same kinda feeling after coming off my bike last month but back on it within a couple of days. I'm sure you'll have the same thought process. Shit happens but don't let that get in the way of enjoyment.

Yesterday while coming off Ben Ledi I tripped on an innocuous section of path and tried to protect my expensive camera while falling forward. I ended up face-planting on the path, splitting my lip and scraping my chin along a boulder. Lots of blood but only a minor injury, really. In over 30 years of walking and being in the outdoors it’s the first time I’ve ever had any form of blood-letting injury. I could easily rationalise it as something that was long overdue, given some of the sketchy places I go to. But, honestly, it’s shaken me up a bit. Was it just bad luck or was it a symptom of getting older? I’m not sure, but there’s nothing like the hills for both beauty and introspection.

I know he's owed a lot of money but that's basically zero in return. 9ers clearing house for the Purdy extension?

@RitchieKnows They need a salary floor. The Braves spend more than 85% of MLB teams. Forcing everyone to spend roughly the same would create parity. Unlike the NFL, baseball is a regional game with regional broadcast deals. As long as that’s the case, big markets are going to have a leg up.
