15 April 1988. Kenneth Williams died (aged 62). He appeared in 26 of the 31 Carry On films. He also starred in the BBC radio comedies Hancock’s Half-Hour and Round The Horne and was a regular on BBC radio panel game Just a Minute. One of the funniest people who ever lived.
