Free agent guard Jordan McLaughlin has agreed to a one-year, $3 million deal to return to the San Antonio Spurs, agent Greg Lawrence of Wasserman told ESPN. McLaughlin split last season with the Spurs and Kings, and now enters his seventh NBA campaign as a reserve guard.

This is a huge disappointment. @MacalesterScots missed big time on this. Conner has been a backbone of that program. He’s found exceptional players like Caleb Williams that wasn’t on anyone’s radar. He’s given this program everything, and if you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting Conner, he has that indescribable “it” factor. He connects with everyone he meets and truly cares. Plus, he knows the game of hoops and works harder than anyone. He be an asset to any team he coaches on next.
