Tenured! Yay! 🎉 Celebrated this milestone with my incredible lab family. I’m deeply grateful to all past and current members, together we built our cryo-ET program at Penn from the ground up and had a blast making exciting discoveries. And there is still so much more fun ahead!

New from @Nature: A team led by MSK breast medical oncologist Dr. Pedram Razavi found that tumors with germline #BRCA2 mutations or homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) are more likely to develop RB1 loss during treatment with CDK4/6 inhibitors, leading to therapeutic resistance. “If we look deeper and better understand the biology of tumors, we may be able to predict how they will behave on treatment,” says Dr. Razavi. “By forecasting how resistance develops, we can work to intervene earlier and potentially improve outcomes.” Learn more: bit.ly/4s0bx39
