The India Coalition for Education for Gender Equality moved the workshop from strategy to execution. Partners agreed on priorities for action, budgets for implementation and working groups developed the broad outcomes into detailed plans of activity with clear accountability.

In Ayodhya, UP, Room to Read India, in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha, facilitated a capacity-building workshop under the NIPUN Bharat Mission. Together with our district partners, we continue to build an enabling environment for strong readers and lifelong learning.

We supported DIET Sehore in training head coaches to build a district coaching system. This initiative strengthens departmental coordination and instructional support to improve classroom practices and learning outcomes districtwide.

Data is only useful if it changes classrooms. At Room to Read India’s recent literacy Review and Training of Trainers, teams across India focused on using data to guide decisions, target gaps and strengthen teaching practice. How is data shaping learning where you work?

From March 9–13 in New Delhi, we convened Gender Equality teams to review progress, tackle challenges & align with state systems for scale. Insights from RM&E are strengthening facilitation, design & delivery, improving how adolescents engage with life skills & gender content.
