I’ve written the introduction to my book. It’s not a final version, but I want to share it and get your honest thoughts on the style and whether yall like it. I won’t share more than the intro, just want a genuine take. Thx in advance for reading 🌹

Introduction
Most people think investing is about being smarter than everyone else. Surprise it’s not, it’s about being less stupid for longer than most people can tolerate.
You can know everything about balance sheets, interest rates, and discounted cash flow models and still lose to a guy who spends half his day fishing and the other half doing nothing at all. Why? Because intelligence is common and temperament is rare.
This book isn’t about formulas or secret stock tips. It’s about how to think. How to make peace with boredom, confusion, and uncertainty. How to sit still when everyone else is panicking, and panic a little when everyone else is euphoric.
Think of it as a journey through the mind of an investor who decided that Darwin might have been a better fund manager than most people on Wall Street. Evolution rewards those who adapt, not those who predict. The market works the same way because the people who survive are the ones who learn, unlearn, and evolve without taking it personally, or as I like to say “snowflakes”.
We’ll talk about how habits compound like interest, how luck disguises itself as genius, how fear turns smart people into idiots, and how you can do less but think better. You’ll meet a few fools, some philosophers, and maybe a slightly wiser version of yourself along the way.
If you’ve ever wondered why you can know what to do and still not do it, why the loudest voices in finance are often the least successful, or why the best investors tend to sound a little boring, you’re in the right place.
This isn’t a textbook. It’s more like a mirror. You’ll see your own behavior reflected back at you, hopefully with enough humor that you don’t mind the view. Just remember, when you point your finger at someone, four more pointing back at you.
So settle in, we’re going to explore what happens when Darwin meets Buffett, when patience beats prediction, and when thinking slowly becomes a superpower.
And if you finish this book and still think investing is about being the smartest person in the room, you might want to start again. Because the real game isn’t about outsmarting others, it’s about outlasting them.

$CRDO said it joined Arm's Total Design ecosystem to speed up the creation of custom silicon aimed at artificial intelligence data centers.
The partnership will combine Credo's high-speed connectivity portfolio, including its SerDes chiplets, with Arm's Neoverse Compute Subsystems processor architecture. The integration is designed to help customers more quickly develop tailored chips for next-generation AI, cloud, and hyperscale data center applications.
Credo said the collaboration should enhance flexibility for chip designers seeking to balance performance and efficiency in large-scale AI infrastructure.

Far too many so called investors assume markets only go one way. The S&P 500 can just as easily deliver flat or negative returns from here for a long time even if the underlying businesses keep growing at the same rate or even a faster rate.
Valuations are already stretched which means multiples can compress while earnings increase. Companies can do well and report strong results but the return to shareholders can be underwhelming. Trees don’t grow to the sky, even if you water them a lot.
This possibility is almost always ignored because people assume growth and higher multiples as if both must happen together.
Sorry for the “unpleasant” albeit thought provoking thoughts.
