Our firefighters don't just fight flames. Every winter, CFD completes specialized ice & cold-water rescue training to ensure they’re ready for emergencies year-round. This training ensures the team is prepared, confident & ready to dive in (literally) to any situation!

The conversation does NOT end when the month does. Firefighter occupational cancer is the leading cause of line-of-duty deaths in the fire service.
