@AlisonPosey14 @bgrutherford99 A couple years ago they wouldn't have even had a chance be considered as it was an NJCAA by-law that you had to make your Region Tournament to be considered for an at-large. That has since changed so still a chance!

@RoyAllenFSW @bgrutherford99 For sure. Just have to hope that there aren't a lot of upsets that could change that. That's the positive of this - currently ranked sixth, that national at-large bid is a very real possibility!

Taking a look at the final Massey Ratings, and it’s a bummer that Tallahassee State 🏀 will be left out of the state tournament.
Four nationally ranked teams, and one is left out of the state tournament. Insanity.

@bgrutherford99 @RoyAllenFSW That too. You can't count out having the chance to win a state championship. It means something. You don't want to leave the chance for an at-large bid (even though they have a strong chance in getting it) to chance. Better to take it in their own hands.

@bgrutherford99 @AlisonPosey14 I get it for sure. Obviously not ideal. Just trying to find a little bit of a silver lining. No idea why there isn't an actual tiebreaker in place. Unfortunately that is on the conference itself

@RoyAllenFSW @AlisonPosey14 I’ve been thinking about this a lot—and the truth is I have no idea! With at least four other Region 8 schools with strong resumes for an at-large, could they be overlooked?
I also know how much cutting down nets in Niceville would mean for that school and program.

You would think that with where they are ranked they would be almost a shoe in for an at-large for the National Tournament, instead of facing a potential upset at state that could knock them out

@AlisonPosey14 @TSCeaglesMBB The format of the 2 conferences is absurd! Year after year a GOOD panhandle school is left out of the state tournament. The BEST programs in the state should go to the tournament regardless of which conference they are in.

Call me crazy, but Jason Myers just did something no player in #SuperBowl history has ever done and outscored the other team by himself in the process and he doesn't get MVP but a guy who didn't even score in the game does?

Walker is the rational MVP and anyone saying otherwise just wanted a kicker to win for memes

@RoyAllenFSW Exactly. The argument is because he got yards. He turned those yards into nothing. Meyers was the one that turned those yards into points when Walker couldn’t follow through.

Glad he’s back, but I can not emphasize how much I hate this system.
NFL players sign contracts and can’t renegotiate each year. CFB needs to get this under control.

@JucoPulse @RoyAllenFSW @TheNielsenFile If you add the top three from the citrus this year to the panhandle, those three would finish in the bottom 4. Last year, only Daytona State would have finished inside the top 4 and the other two would finish as the bottom two teams. There is no comparison.
