@CoachMcCarry That's fair, and I don't think it is a fool proof metric. But again, they had 11 Division I wins this year, nobody else in the field had less than 30. As I said before, I am sure they are really good and the eye test would tell you that, but you can't seed teams on the eye test

@RoyAllenFSW I'm as adept as Massey ratings as anyone in the country. And I've had years where I finished 4th overall at the WS and my SOS was 105 somehow and I played my first 24 games on the road 7 hours away. Im telling you, eye test, the ranking is wrong.

Harford team goes on the road to Flo Dart (mind you, it was their year to host and they got pushed out of it) , after flo dart had beat #2 Gaston... And they get rewarded with the #10 seed. Now they either dethrone #1 or get the bias unjustly confirmed.

@RoyAllenFSW @eugene2clean What if I told you that a schedule can't be "legit" if the team never left their own state? What about if they never traveled significantly north. What if I told you what you think is hard, typically avoids all the hard things

@eugene2clean @CoachMcCarry Again, I'm sure they are really good, but it's hard to compare statistics against other teams that played a legit Division I schedule and they didn't. They played a total of two games against teams inside the Top 100 during the regular season

@RoyAllenFSW @CoachMcCarry I see your point Mr. Allen but them Owls have the best offense in the nation statistically and top 3 K’s per 9 in the country. They had the most wins in school history. Also beat a top 10 team in the nation to get into the tourney. Seems like a pretty good resume to me🤷🏿‍♂️

@bradleywhayes @RoyAllenFSW @AppleTV @F1 The new regs must be hell for the director because random overtakes happen all over the track. In the past you knew where and when it was likely. F1 have made it harder to show an entertaining product. Ironic.

This @AppleTV @F1 broadcast is almost unwatchable. 4 time World Champion does a 360 in the opening lap and it's not replayed until the 8th lap? A car rolls over and the commentators are guessing what happened when there are multiple cameras on every car?

@numberonecoog I'm going to go back to last year's races and see where the start replays were played. I will eat crow if it was similar to yesterday. I just felt with the amount of incidents going on, some sort of explanation or replay would have benefitted the broadcast

@RoyAllenFSW Maybe they should have put it up when the cars were 4 wide? Maybe when there was action up and down the grid they should have shown a replay. Despite NEVER showing a first lap replay until at least lap 5 most years. Come on now.

My favorite part about this tweet is the fact he is so wrong. It’s the same people running the broadcast. The feed is literally the same people as last year.

@JordanOwens45 @AppleTV @F1 Not trying to be a smart ass at all actually. My point is, last year, I just watched the main feed and saw all of that stuff. Yesterday I would need to have my remote and flip through 22 cameras to see the same thing

@Geess2 @AnchrumTerry @AppleTV @F1 I didn't have enough characters to fully describe my complaint. My complaint is not their knowledge level (completely agree with Danica), but more how they didn't seem to know what was going on in the race. Maybe a tech issue with their feed?

@RoyAllenFSW @AppleTV @F1 If it’s during the race and you happen to clock Apple it defaults to the “main broadcast” which if you click on the screen and scroll over to the very end you can select sky sports instead too.

@and1_gr @Some_Dopamine @AppleTV @F1 Fair, I guess the broadcast has been so much worse this year than last year when I was watching it on ESPN, I felt it was a different feed

@Some_Dopamine @RoyAllenFSW @AppleTV @F1 And this is how globally broadcasts work. There is only one producer and many many carriers. Same with the World Cup, Champions League, Super Bowl, etc. You can’t blame Apple just because they are the provider in the US and where your money goes.

@numberonecoog How about throw up a picture in picture to show why one front row driver was off the track and the other dropped to 10th after the first corner. Seems like a sort of important part of the race

@RoyAllenFSW And when was a good time to replay the spin? Was it during all of the battles the first few laps or was it when there was a safety car?

@JordanOwens45 @AppleTV @F1 So I could pull the information about why Gasly and Lawson were suddenly out of the race when there was no video or commentary of it on the broadcast? Gotcha

@atKenNelson @AppleTV @F1 That's probably the move now. Unfortunately we used to get all the action just in the regular broadcast, but it looks like now it is just going to take a little bit more effort

@RoyAllenFSW @AppleTV @F1 Btw: you have your own rewind feature. I used it to watch that start a few times before hitting play again. You can also go onboard with Max, or Lando behind him, for the best view of it. Or PIP it and rewind it. You can do better than the broadcast.

@nirave @helloapplehome @AppleTV @F1 I get that to a point too. The start was great with lots of action, but still, we used to get an overhead of the race start within the first couple laps, especially in the situation where there was an incident

Something feels very off about this. I watched it live on Apple tv and I've also been a sky f1 subscriber for years. Yes, it was shown later but it's also worth remembering the first six laps were very busy. This replay was shown once we were in the safety car period and even then, there was action on the track. Some of the world feed definitely felt strangely off - almost American sport like vs traditional f1 - and Apple has no control over it. The Gasly/Hadjar thing was strange as hell and there were loads of issues with the graphics etc, but nonetheless, this isn't new as there's always things in f1 where it's not immediately obvious what happened, especially when the data screens haven't updated.

@RoyAllenFSW @AppleTV @F1 If you are watching live on AppleTV you can use the up/down arrow on your remote and choose to see the "feeds" from the individual cars and teams but in addition you can scroll to the end of feeds to watch the Sky broadcast like you probably always have.....cheers!

@apfk26 @robbieleffel @AppleTV @F1 Right, I get that of course, but why did it take so long to show it? There were multiple cameras available when it was happening

@RoyAllenFSW @AppleTV @F1 Not done by Apple, that’s F1 and it’s been more or less that bad for years. The rollover though isn’t shown until confirmation the driver is ok.

@RoyAllenFSW @AppleTV @F1 You know that networks do not control camera angles or replays, right? That's a global feed the individual networks do not control.

@RoyAllenFSW @AppleTV @F1 It’s not Apple TV. The director of the feed everyone uses was just terrible. At the end they seemed to pick the least interesting feed and switch to it just as the current one was spicing up.

@RoyAllenFSW @AppleTV @F1 I tried to listen to Apple TV’s broadcast during the Australian GP and quickly switched to what I’m accustomed to, Sky Sports. If I can only mute that Karun Chandhok….he’s dreadful
