Sharing: Study seeking both athletes and supporters, and participation would involve a one-on-one virtual interview to discuss the key people and actions that are needed to support athletes during the reintegration into sports following eating disorders or disordered eating.

Post Running in Silence presentation thoughts from our coach attendees... and we couldn’t agree more! It’s time to break the stigma, and be loud about what coaches and athletic staff need so that fewer athletes are left swimming, running, jumping ... competing in silence.

Looking forward to 3x30min sessions on mental health/eating disorders in athletes this afternoon for ADs at @IOWAHSADA ! Everyone has an important role in athletics to address this stigmatized and prevalent issue, and ADs can make a difference.

Heading to Boston for a great @MSTCA1 clinic! It’s wonderful to see coaching clinics include mental health/disordered eating in their list of topics. Coaches deserve to have this info. Even as an athlete who had an ED, there was much more to learn as a coach. Knowledge is power!
