Today is a historic day as we become the first UK nation to introduce a ban on snares & glue traps. These devices can cause animals a great deal of suffering, including to our family pets. We’re proud Wales is leading the way in protecting the health and welfare of animals.

Next week from Oct 17th the use of snares and glue traps in Wales becomes illegal.

I agree with you they are effective in catching targeted animals but they are indiscriminate in their choice and often catch other animals such as dogs, cats, badgers, deer and many others who are left with horrendous injuries or die in the most prolonged and cruelest of ways
