Speaking at the closing of the workshop, DDG @gmunyemana hailed the participants for contributing in developing the ECD financing toolbox for Rwanda and requested every actor to use it.

Elizabeth Lule, the Executive Director for @ECDAction expressed her thanks to the Government of Rwanda for partnership with the network, and invited stakeholders to take part in the Global Technical Financing Forum on Investing in Early Childhood Development slated for next week.

The workshop precedes the Global Technical Financing Forum on Investing in Early Childhood Development taking place next week in Kigali.

DG @iassumpta: We are not only preparing to co-host the upcoming Global ECD Financing Forum, we are helping to shape it. The next two days will inform global thinking on how countries can sustainably finance early childhood development.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, DG @iassumpta said, Rwanda has made significant progress in expanding access to integrated ECD services across the country.

Implemented at the community level, the interventions will enable families improve nutrition status among children through the consumption of animal source food and beans rich in iron. Parents are also equipped with skills to prepare balanced diet using local food supplies.
