A lot of talk about the lack of sportsmanship and class in college baseball. We need to promote and celebrate programs that do it right. Programs that respect the game, their opponents, the umpires and play with class. Miami Dade-Lazaro Llanes and his staff. Chipola College-Jeff Johnson and his staff. Northwest Florida State College-Doug Martin and his staff. State College of Florida-Tim Hill II and his staff. The Florida juco final four participants put on a show of how it should be done. They played with incredible passion and energy, respected the game, respected their opponents and respected the umpires. No shit talking, no dances, no bat flips, no theatrics and certainly no confrontations between coaches or coaches and umpires. Simply a bunch of kids and coaches acting like respectful competitors. It's a shame that a lot of D1 and even professional players and coaches could have learned a lot by watching the Florida Junior college final four.
