This never gets old: I hand-sign each 1151 Recruit School certificate. To put that in perspective, the Fire Academy prints over 30,000 certificates a year, and yes, a computer prints my signature for all of them…except these.

We had a very productive Fire School Advisory Committee meeting yesterday. In addition to our regular quarterly reports we discussed digital resources and how they will one day change how we administer SCFA courses.
