You’re more likely to be at risk when driving if you're tired, or your mind is drifting off or overloaded. • Get sufficient sleep • Give yourself plenty of time • Pay attention to the road signs • Focus on your surroundings • Take regular breaks • Steady your breathing

When overtaking cyclists, give them as much space as you would a car. Leave at least 1.5 metres when overtaking at speeds of up to 30mph and more space if you're driving at higher speeds, at night, or in bad weather.

It never ceases to amaze me when it’s thick fog outside, the amount of drivers who appear to have lost all common sense. When it’s foggy, you need dipped headlights. On. Not sidelights. Not sidelights & fog lights. Not daytime running lights! Dipped headlights. #RoadSafety
